Four desks, four addresses, and one promise: a person reads what arrives, and answers it.
We answer within five working days. Corrections are handled faster than that — usually the same day.
Anything at all
The catch-all. If none of the others fit, this is the one — it is read by the same people, not by a router.
[email protected]Corrections
Something we got wrong. Tell us what and where. We will fix it, and we will say on the piece that we did.
[email protected]Press and permissions
Reprinting a piece, quoting one at length, or asking the magazine to comment on something.
[email protected]Payments
For writers we already publish: questions about a rate, a payout, or withholding. Your earnings page has the numbers; this is for when they need explaining.

Pitching an essay or a comic
We do not take pitches by email — they get lost, and an editor cannot answer one properly from an inbox. The guidelines say what we want, and drafts go to an editor through the studio.

Where we are
Nyirobi is made in Nairobi. There is no public office and no front desk — the addresses above are the door.
